Between 2003 and 2005 a new building was erected to house the Parliament of Malabo in the old headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce.
The building is divided into two floors: the ground floor includes offices and secretariats, while on the upper floor there is the large central, semi-circular and terraced hall. This hall, suitable for 120 parliamentarians, is entirely covered with wooden wainscoting and the walls are richly decorated with frescoes.
